David Williams, SR., M.D., FAAP

Dr. Williams is the senior practicing partner in Thomasville Pediatrics.  He trained at Chapel Hill, NC and has been in practice in Thomasville since 1968.  He is actively involved in the North Carolina chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In August of 2002, he will begin working only in the office and stop taking call.  Nonetheless, he remains a vital part of Thomasville and Archdale Pediatrics.

 
W. Keith Thompson, M.D., FAAP

 Dr. Thompson has practiced with Thomasville Pediatrics since January 1978.  He did his medical training at Wake Forest University Medical School from 1965-1969 and did his Pediatrics residency at the University of Kentucky.  He is married and has two children. His special interests are in behavioral pediatrics, especially ADHD.

 
Amy Suttle, M.D., FAAP

 Dr. Suttle attended medical school and residency in Tennessee.  After solo private practice from 1982 to 1994 in Lexington, NC, she joined Thomasville Pediatrics.  Dr. Suttle has a special interest in child abuse prevention and is a certified child abuse medical examiner for North Carolina.

 
Rob Williams, M.D., FAAP

 Dr. Williams, Jr., son of Dr. David Williams, joined the practice in 1992 after attending medical school at his father’s alma mater and residency at the University of Alabama, Birmingham.  He is married with four children.  He is an avid golfer and enjoys reading.  He has served on the YMCA board and on the hospital board at Thomasville Medical Center.


 Stephen Hardy, M.D., FAAP

 Dr. Hardy joined Thomasville Pediatrics in 1995.  His training was in Canada where he worked for some time until coming to the United States.  He is married with three children, the youngest, Jillian, born in June 2002.  His wife, June, is a nurse who has most recently worked in hospice care until the birth of their daughter.

 
Ed Reedy, M.D., FAAP

 Dr. Ed joined Thomasville Pediatrics in 1996 after completing college, medical school and residency at Wake Forest University and Bowman Gray School of Medicine.  He is married with three children, all girls. His wife, Rhonda, is active in the community and church.  Dr. Reedy loves to golf and enjoys running, and fishing.  His special interests include cardiology and behavioral pediatrics.


 
Don Winters, M.D., FAAP

  Dr. Don joined Thomasville and Archdale pediatrics in 1996 after attending Creighton Medical School in Omaha, Nebraska and completing residency at the combined University of Nebraska/Creighton Pediatric Residency. He is board certified in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. His wife, Michelle, completed her PhD. in Microbiology and teaches middle school science. He continues to serve as a National Health Service Corps Physician. In this capacity, he is usually found in the Archdale office. Dr. Winters has four children; John, Ian, Connor, and Julia. He enjoys scuba diving, racing, working on cars and computers. Dr. Don is fluent in Spanish. In addition, when requested, Dr. Winters performs circumcisions in the office with local anesthesia.  


 
Beatriz E. Juncadella, M.D., FAAP

Dr Bea as she is known by her patients joined the practice in 2005 after completing residency at Brenner Children's Hospital.  She attended medical school at East Carolina University. Bea's family is from Nicaragua and she is fluent in Spanish and French. She is married with two children. 

 

 
Dan Entwistle, M.D., FAAP

Dr. Dan Entwistle and his family have spent the majority of his practice life in Africa doing mission work in various countries. He comes back to work at Thomasville and Archdale-Trinity Pediatrics whenever they are back in the United States. We are always glad to have Dan and family whenever they return to the U.S. Dan is fluent in English, Portuguese , Kimwani and speaks the language of babies with ease.  



Andrea Bennett Cain, M.D., FAAP

Dr. “A-B-C” as she has been called by her patients, is the newest addition to Thomasville and Archdale pediatrics.  She hopes to serve as a National Health Service Corps Physician in Archdale and begins work in august 2002.  She graduated from Wake Forest University and recently completed residency at the University of Alabama, School of Medicine in Birmingham. She is fluent in Spanish.   Her husband, Daniel is a commercial pilot. 


Maria Pincus, M.D., FAAP

 Dr. Pincus joined Thomasville Pediatrics on a part time basis in 1995 having moved from Virginia, where she practiced at Chesapeake Pediatrics.  She completed her education at Eastern Virginia Medical School and her residency at the Children’s Hospital of Kings Daughters at Eastern Virginia Medical School.  She is married and her husband, Bill, is an Otolaryngologist in Thomasville.  Dr. Pincus has three daughters and one son.

 
Catherine Riggan, M.D., FAAP

 Dr. Riggan joined the practice in 2001 on a part time basis.  She previously worked at Forsyth Pediatrics and before that in Dr. Suttle’s solo practice in Lexington, NC.  She attended Bowman Gray School of Medicine and then completed the residency program at the Children’s Hospital Columbus, Ohio.  She has two children and her husband is an orthopedic surgeon in Lexington, NC. 

 
Karrie Stansfield, M.D.

Dr. Karrie Stansfield comes to our offices after training at Eastern Carolina University and at the Brody School of Medicine. Prior to becoming a pediatrician, Dr. Karrie performed research in hard tissue transplant and the interaction of cytokines with tissues in the body.

 
Theresa York, MSN, RN, CPNP

Theresa, a Pediatric nurse practitioner, joined Thomasville in 1997. Prior to completing her masters, she enjoyed a career as neonatal nurse at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC.  She is married and has three children. Not surprisingly, her special interest is in the primary care of neonates, especially premature infants.
